The IRS has released the 2027 cost-of-living amounts (COLAs) for HSA-qualifying high-deductible health plans.

Pursuant to Section 1302(c)(4) of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA), the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has released the limits for total maximum out-of-pocket amounts (including deductibles, medical co-payments, prescription drug co-payments, and coinsurance, but not premiums) for 2027

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) fee under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is due from sponsors of applicable self-funded health plans by July 31, 2026.

Under the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, self-funded group health plans are required to submit certain information related to prescription drug and other health care spending to the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, and the Department of Treasury (Departments).
