Position Overview:
ASR is seeking a skilled Developer responsible for the analysis, design, development, installation, and support of client, server, and web-based applications. This role involves utilizing object-oriented development environments to efficiently code, test, and implement solutions in alignment with company standards and project specifications. The Developer will also manage and maintain EDI maps and related interfaces, providing technical expertise for EDI communications and working closely with trading partners to optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business users to clarify and validate requirements and business rules.
- Translate business requirements into technical design specifications.
- Design, develop, implement, and deploy applications and batch processes.
- Create and execute unit, integration, and regression test plans.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and tune applications and batch processes for performance.
- Maintain and update existing code, addressing bugs and ensuring smooth operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects and maintain system stability across development, QA, and production environments.
- Conduct data analysis to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
- Develop and maintain ad-hoc and automated reporting solutions.
- Document work products according to ASR standards and best practices.
- Perform other related duties and special projects, as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of HIPAA 5010 and X12 Transaction sets (834, 835, 837, 820, 270, 271, 276, 277, 999).
- Experience developing Microsoft BizTalk applications using HIPAA mappings.
- Familiarity with BizTalk components, including pipelines, orchestrations, adaptors, message box, deployment frameworks, and itineraries.

- Experience with web development technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery.
- Familiarity with MVC architecture patterns.
- Proficient in relational databases and SQL.
- Experience with web services and APIs.
