Billing and Enrollment Representative
ASR Health Benefits is a rapidly growing third-party administrator of health plans, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, Section 125, and consumer-directed health plans. We administer these health plans through dedicated client service teams, consisting of staff members from each department at ASR who work together to meet our clients’ needs.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Billing & Enrollment Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional service to both internal and external clients by managing inquiries related to enrollment, eligibility, and billing (fixed fees). The ideal candidate requires a high level of confidentiality, is proactive, professional, and skilled at problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
This position will follow a remote or hybrid work structure, allowing employees to work remotely and/or from the office based on specific tasks or personal work preferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build new groups in internal systems.
- Manage enrollment data, including new enrollments, updates, and terminations.
- Monitor and route CEA mailbox inquiries to the appropriate teams.
- Updates system with renewal rates for client billings.
- Runs monthly billing cycles (fixed fees).
- Audit list bill adjustments to ensure accuracy.
- Trained on 5500’s for urgent requests.
- Build groups in Wex for both Flex and COBRA plans.
- Input Flex enrollments, including direct deposit setup for employees.
- Address and resolve urgent prescription eligibility issues with PBM eligibility departments.
- Maintain and audit electronic eligibility file loads.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management abilities; capable of multitasking.
- Keen attention to detail with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- A reliable team player who consistently demonstrates professionalism and sound judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe.
- Experience with QicLink is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) or insurance company in employee healthcare benefits is preferred.
