ASR Health Benefits is a rapidly growing third-party administrator of health plans, including medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, Section 125, and consumer-directed health plans. We administer these health plans through dedicated client service teams, consisting of staff members from each department at ASR who work together to meet our clients’ needs.
ASR is currently seeking an experienced Director of Client Success who will manage key client accounts, drive product development, and develop strategic recommendations for our agent partners and self-funded clients. Position Summary:
The ideal candidate will approach problems and tasks in unconventional and innovative ways. In this role, the Director of Client Success will demonstrate a high level of accuracy, responsiveness, reliability and professionalism in every interaction in a fast-paced client service environment. The Director of Client Success is also expected to demonstrate a commitment to collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure superior service and product offerings, as well as improvements responsive to client feedback and industry trends.
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Lead and upskill Account Management team.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key client contacts, executives, and agent partners.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Develop marketing materials and client communications.
- Develop and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate vendor contracts, and evaluate prospective vendors based on industry trends and client needs.
- Serve as senior contact to client accounts for stop-loss renewals, service, contracts, financials, reporting, compliance, benefit design and plan documentation needs.
- Analyze pricing strategies and expanded distribution channels to increase revenue
- Ensure credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions.
- Provide strategic input to clients in an effort to control costs, be market competitive, and ensure compliance in a complex health benefits environment.
- Collaborate with Implementation Manager and Sales team to facilitate new client implementations.
Requirements:

- Prior leadership experience.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related major preferred.
- Five years’ experience in the Third-Party Administrator environment or seven years in health benefit administration.
- Prior leadership experience required.
